中希文明互鉴中心（以下简称“中心”）是中国和希腊两国之间的旗舰型教育和人文交流平台，由中希八所高校合作设立，中方秘书处设立在西南大学，希方秘书处设立在雅典大学。中希文明互鉴中心以共建“一带一路”倡议和人类命运共同体为使命，融千年历史的厚度和文明互鉴的高度为一体，通过学术研究和推广从东西方文明中寻求智慧应对全球挑战，通过国际联合人才培养融通中欧两大教育体系推动教育高水平对外开放，通过高级别人文交流项目促进中外民心相通，通过数字化赋能自身高质量发展，不断推动新时代中国与世界的对话和相互理解。

中心致力于建成中国和希腊教育和人文交流的旗舰型平台，建成集学科建设、人才培养、学术研究、智库服务为一体、兼具区域国别研究和国际传播功能的自主知识创新中心，建成“一带一路”倡议示范性民心相通工程，建成落实习近平总书记“全球文明倡议”的标志性项目，建成具有国际意义、中国价值的中心。

中心致力于发挥平台作用。中心在发挥双方现有八所共建高校作用的基础上，不断吸引更多教育和文化机构、社会组织、企业和民众共同参与，形成开放、包容、灵活多样的合作机制，提升中心的平台聚集效应，搭建多元参与、多层次互动的合作新平台。

中心致力于发挥示范作用。中心将充分利用中希两国在文化底蕴方面的优势，从千年文明滋养中汲取智慧，在交流互鉴中不断发展和进步。中心将不断创新合作内容和形式，共同倡导平等、开放、包容的文明观，促进文明交流互鉴常态化、机制化和品牌化，树立中外文明交流互鉴的典范。

中心致力于发挥引领性作用。中心以两国源远流长的文明为纽带，带动教育、旅游、体育、智库、传媒，青年等广泛领域的交流合作，为文明互鉴注入新时代的内涵。

中心致力于发挥辐射作用。作为中国与欧洲国家建立的首个文明互鉴中心，中心将积极参与中欧人文交流，促进东西方文明交流互鉴，以宏阔视野和深邃的目光关注人类前途命运，为促进世界文明繁荣、和平发展凝聚起新的共识与力量。

中心致力于推动重庆的中西部国际交往中心建设、西部国际传播中心建设以及落实“全球文明倡议”的先行城市建设，服务于成渝地区双城经济圈和西部陆海新通道等国家战略，推动京渝合作、鲁渝协作和高等教育的区域均衡发展。

Brief Introduction

Center for Chinese and Greek Civilizations (KELKIP) stands as a beacon of educational and people-to-people exchange between China and Greece.Backed by eight Chinese and Greek higher institutions, with Southwest University and the University of Athens at the forefront, KELKIP organizes a diverse array of events and activities focused on education and academic exchange. Through its joint MA and PhD programs in Greek and Chinese civilizations, KELKIP seamlessly integrates the educational systems and resources of China and Europe, while facilitating dialogues between students and scholars of diverse backgrounds. Moreover, KELKIP actively fosters mutual learning through immersive summer schools, dynamic study-abroad initiatives, and other engaging people-to-people exchange programs. As the sole platform dedicated to the Greek and Chinese civilizations, KELKIP offers a unique window into Greek and European culture to Chinese people, and a unique window into Chinese culture to Greeks and Europeans. Embodying a high educational and academic ethos, KELKIP fosters intellectual growth and aims to enhance cultural awareness serving as a catalyst for cross-cultural dialogue and mutual learning.
